Missing In Action - 2012 Continued . . .

Well - it kinda looks like we haven't existed for the last 8 months, but we truly have . . . we've just been busy and I haven't taken the time to update our blog.  So, today I spent a bit of time and I have taken pictures of the last 8 months and just crammed them in so that you can see what we've been doing.  Hopefully I'll be able to keep up in the new year!!!  So, here we go . . .

Emma's Relay Team

In June we added a new puppy to our family - Izzy.  She's an Aussiedoodle and fits perfectly with us!

In July Braden and I went for 10 days to Prague and Vienna while my parents looked after the kids in Ottawa.  It was an amazing trip!!!

Emma had to say good-bye to her best friends as they moved to Malibu in August.

Family Vacation at Lake Placid, New York.  Stayed in a cabin and even brought Izzy with us!

Emma won a bobsled ride for 2 and gave it to Braden and Kaleb.  They went on the bodsledding track from the 1980 Olypics.  1/2 mile in 41.83 seconds!  The next day we ALL went tubing down the rapids - even our brave Navia!!!

Emma and Kaleb went to their very first overnight camp - Circle Square Ranch Camp.  They were able to go the same week and LOVED it!!!  They can't wait to go again, and Navia is trying to figure out how she can manage to fit in one of their suitcases!

Navia's 'real' birthday - and Grampa was there for it!!!

Christmas has come to our house!!!  Grampa Bailey came out on Dec 14 and stayed with us until the 26th, so it was a first having a grandparent down for Christmas, but a GREAT first!!!  It was a lot of fun being able to hang out with Grampa and have him read the Christmas story to us, decorate cookies with us and even come to Kaleb and Emma's piano recital!

Braden and Dad

We took Grampa to the airport and had some sad kids - they loved having someone else around to hang out with, play with and spoil them too!

We kinda forgot to do the Gingerbread Houses before Christmas, so it became an after Christmas activity - which they still had fun doing!

And so that is the rest of 2012!

Braden did a lot of travelling this year for work, although I don't have the pictures that he took.  He visited London, Paris, Lisbon, Kiev, Stockholm, St. Petersburg, Frankfurt, Geneva, Megeve, and went to Orlando for meetings just a week after we came home from our March break there :)  I think those are all the places, but I could be missing one or two.  He is keeping very busy with work, but it is nice that he is also able to hang out with us and that we've been able to do more travelling this year with him too.

So, from our Family to Yours - Merry Christmas and have a great 2013!!!
