"I Pee in the Grass..."

This is the new stage that we're in right now . . . Navia has decided that she wants to be a big girl now - but I made a fatal error! You'd thing by the third that I wouldn't do this, but no, that would just be too easy.

I was outside pulling weeds and Navia came running up to me saying that she had to go to the potty. I figured that by the time I got my gloves off and got her into the house I'd be cleaning up an accident somewhere between the door and the bathroom. So . . . I just pulled down her panties and she peed in the yard. No big deal, right? I grew up on the farm and don't know anyone who hasn't peed in the grass - no big deal!!! But how wrong I was! Now when I ask what she'd going to do if she has to go to the bathroom she smiles and says, "I pee in the grass!"

Last night we had supper outside (Brade wasn't allowed on the main floor because of how dusty he was so we figured we'd compromise and he could eat with us outside). In the middle of the meal Navia got up and I looked over - and there she was - peeing in the grass! But - minor detail - she forgot to take her panties off!!! Oh well!

When I asked her why she didn't tell me she had to go she just looked up with that smile that only Navia can give and said (again) "but I pee in the grass!?!?"

Oh no! I'm in trouble now! I'm scared that she'd going to be disappearing outside now just to pee in the grass. And Brade - he's hilarious!!! With Kaleb he was sooo proud that Kaleb was peeing outside, but with his little girl - not so proud - more like mortified!!! Double standards I think!!!
