On Friday Daddy had a special day . . . and a well deserved one!!! I had an all day MYC meeting so Brade took the day off to make sure that he could pick up Navia from school and spend the afternoon with her. They had a blast together - going on an afternoon date and with Navia "helping" Daddy pick out the worship set and practice for the upcoming weekend.
Then the kids got home and Daddy decided to take them for an evening out on the town! He had won 4 tickets to the Ottawa 67's game and wanted to make a night of it. They went out to Montana's for dinner and then to the game . . .
The tickets were pretty incredible - 4th row - can't really do much better than that!

During the game Kaleb was cheering extremely loudly (encouraged by the guy next to him) and 3 guys in 67's jackets came up to him during the game and said that he's been cheering a lot and they wanted to make him the 67's Fan of the Game - which of course Kaleb loved!!!
Daddy got them each a special 67's item - Kaleb chose the hand and he's got the attitude for it - hehehe!
Emma got a 67's clapper (annoying at home!!!), Kaleb with his hand and Navia with her cheerleading pom-pom!
The 67's have cheerleaders and one of them ended up sitting right beside where Brade and the kids were and Navia was soooo happy!!! Right away she took her pom-pom and sat beside the cheerleader and the girl showed Navia how to cheer . . .
. . . and then even let Navia cheer with her!!! That made Navia's night!
It was a great day for Daddy and for the kids and me . . . well . . . I got to have a quiet house, went to a movie with a friend, and came home to a quiet house (at least for a few minutes). It was a great night for all!
